Friday, March 15, 2013 – Buses, Cable Cars and Boats

Today, the student traveled by bus, cable car and boat during a day-long tour of the Blue Mountains outside Sydney. We began the day at a wildlife park where the students had the chance to interact with Australian animals.

We then visited an aboriginal cultural center and watched a show that included the playing of the didgeridoo and traditional songs and dance. This was followed by a visit to see the famous Three Sisters rock formation. At first, things didn’t look good for a clear viewing.

But then things cleared up and the students road a cable car down into the rainforest on the valley floor.

To end the day, the students travelled by boat down the Parramatta River and back into Sydney Harbour and Circular Quay.
